A man who attempted to break the Guinness Record by running from Lagos to PH for 5 days lands in hospital and Currently Receiving Treatment
A brave Nigerian embarked on a five-day marathon adventure that started at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos and ended at the hospital.
He was captured in a viral photo lying on a hospital bed receiving treatment for apparent burns.
According to the report, which he shared on his Facebook page and confirmed with the caption “Coming to Port Harcourt”, he is currently hospitalized and receiving the necessary treatment. “The pain is unimaginable,”
He said. Do I give time, and distance to everyone? hour scar? hour mistrust? There is still time. Until then, wene stays home!”
He embarked on a five-day solo marathon from Lagos State to Port Harcourt, Rivers State to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The Port Harcourt teenager informed netizens of his Guinness World Record attempt through his Facebook post on Sunday, October 15.
Wene admitted that it seemed like an impossible challenge and encouraged people to join him in the adventure. A training flyer showed that the trip began on Tuesday, October 17, and is expected to end on October 21.
Wene left Lekki Toll Gate at 4 a.m. on Tuesday. A post shared on his Facebook page on October 21 confirmed the completion of his five-day marathon walk when he arrived in Rivers State.
Guinness World Records is yet to issue a statement or comment on the Nigerian’s completion of the five-day marathon. In response to his hospital photo, fans commented in the comments section of his page and sent congratulatory messages.
