AFRIMEK Suspends Actor Shawnee Olamilecan For Assault On Co-worker

African Men Entertainment Kings, AFRIMEK, has been honest about popular Nollywood Yoruba actor Shoni Olamilekan, better known as Shaw, physically attacking his young co-star Temidayo Moraquinho.

It came hours after the actor took to social media to accuse the actor of assaulting him on set. In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Moraquinho revealed how the actor stormed her set and beat her up in Ibadan, Oyo state on Friday.

Sharing a photo of herself, she said Shaw punched her in the face and broke her lip for reporting her mischievous behavior to her boss on Thursday. Moraquinho added, however, that her family is demanding justice from her because her attack inflicted her wounds on her.

In response, in a letter signed by Femi Adebayo, AFRIMEK distanced himself from the actor and felt ashamed of his behavior.

The contents of the letter are as follows.

 “Dear Temidayo, I heard that an Olamilekan Shoney member of our club, commonly known as Shaw, has mentally, emotionally and physically attacked you.”

His behavior does not reflect the personality our club is known to represent and project. He was immediately sanctioned and suspended indefinitely while the Disciplinary Commission continued its investigation to uncover all the facts about the unfortunate incident.

“I also sincerely apologize. No one deserves to be treated like that. We will also pay for medical expenses to restore your health. Our gestures show how sorry we are as bodies.”
