On his Instagram page, Daddy Freeze posted a screenshot of the news.
The Grammy Award Winner, according to the post, instructed his accountant to replace the camera after a young journalist broke it by providing him money equal to the value of the device.
Daddy Freeze expressed surprise at the news and claimed that people in Nigeria were only interested in criticising the singer.
The post read: “While in Paris today a young journalist on internship mistakenly smashed her ‘Panasonic GH6’ camera worth over $2000 while rushing to interview Burna Boy. The African giant noticed this and asked his accountant to give the journalist some money to get a new camera”
When asked why the revelation didn’t make headlines in Nigeria, Daddy Freeze responded that people there were only interested in criticising the singer.
He wrote: “How come Nigerians won’t carry this story? Na to bash our own we sabi.”
