
African singers Davido, Yemi Alade, Naomi Achu, and Ommy Dimpoz have been named ambassadors for Prime Music Partners’ Faces of Afrobeats music campaign.
The music campaign, founded by Nigerian creative media director Abass Akeju in the United States, aims to recognise some of the emerging talents who are driving the infectious genre around the world.
Afrobeats music has evolved dramatically over the years, capturing audiences throughout the world with its outstanding rhythms and vivid songs.

The genre has crossed borders and become a cultural force that appeals to individuals from all walks of life.
The latest decision to launch the African legendary music duo will help to broaden the campaign, which has received widespread praise for its novel approach to recognising and rewarding the distinctive efforts of the artists promoting the genre.

Recently, Akeju stated that Davido, Yemi Alade, and others have made huge contributions that cannot be overstated. “We are overjoyed to bring in Davido and Yemi Alade, who are perhaps legends and top influencers in the Afrobeat Music genre,” he stated,

“As with our approach to carefully enlist and celebrate the frontier stars pushing
Afrobeats, we are more than excited to have these icon superstars join our initiative”.
The Faces of Afrobeats campaign has gained traction, and its playlist is now available on major streaming sites such as Spotify and Amazon. Billboards in major locales such as New York Times Square, Connecticut, and New Jersey have drawn attention to the campaign.
Notable ambassadors include 2face, Burnaboy, Wizkid, Sarkodie, Flavour, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Aka, Rudeboy, Focalistic, Yemi Alade, Seyi Shay, Shatta Wale, Preto, Tanasha Donna show, Zuchu, and many others.
With these latest additions to the Faces of Afrobeats music campaign, fans can expect a renewed focus on Afrobeats’ effect on modern music.
