David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, an Afrobeats singer, brushed aside years of hatred on Sunday after expressing respect to Ovation Magazine Publisher, Dele Momodu, at a recent meeting.
According to Citi News, Davido battled with the media mogul a few years ago for siding with his niece, Sophia, who is the singer’s first baby mom.
Davido then went on to call the media mogul “his boy” in a song, which sparked outrage.
In a recent video, however, the DMW chairman is shown prostrating to meet the veteran journalist during a visit to his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, at the Osun State government house.
Before taking his seat at the office, the singer was seen warmly hugging his uncle, the governor of Osun.
