Folarin Falana, also known as Falz, a Nigerian rapper and actor, has spoken out about his knee injuries and surgery.
Citi News recalls that the political activist opened up about his knee injury while playing football in 2022 in a post on his Instagram page on May 10, 2023. He had to undergo surgery to repair his knee.
Falz stated in a recent interview with Cool FM that his injuries was caused by his passion of football and active sports engagement.
Due to the seriousness of the injury, the 32-year-old singer revealed he underwent anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery.
His knee was scattered, and he has no idea how it happened because he had been playing football since he was considerably younger.
The actor described the time as one of the most difficult in his life, emphasising that it is a common injury among athletes.
When asked if he will have any more surgeries, Falz stated that he is now undergoing rehabilitation, which includes intensive physiotherapy.
During the interview, the rapper also made light of the situation, claiming that his remarkable skills as a striker caused envy among other players, leading to their attempt to sabotage him and keep him off the team.
