Nigerian hip-hop artist and hypeman, Goya Menor has stated he is getting fewer accolades than he deserved.
The rapper said his song ‘Ameno Amapiano remix’ crowned many charts globally, a feat he said only few Nigerian songs have managed to achieve.
He said this in a latest interview with Cool FM, Lagos.
He said, “The [‘Ameno Amapiano remix’] hit number 1 on Shazam; number one in America. It hit number 1 on all platforms. So, I don’t even think I’m getting sufficient credits for that.
“You and I know that we can name less than 10 songs that have ever done what ‘Ameno’ did in the history of Nigerian music.”
Goya Menor also disclosed on the interview that he would love to collaborate with Tiwa Savage.
He said he has already reached out to her team.
