Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, a veteran Nigerian artist, has spoken out about his struggles.
According to Citi News, the musician revealed this on his Instagram page on Saturday while responding to a video of Lagos socialite Farida Sobowale, who attempted suicide at the third mainland bridge earlier this week.
Charly Boy reported that he was cheated of millions of Naira and was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which has taken the lives of many of his pals.

He emphasised that, despite everything that has happened to him this year, he is still healing and maintaining a basic lifestyle.
According to Charly Boy, one of the most important aspects of good mental health is the ability to be genuine to oneself.
He stated:

“Why would anyone want to kill themself? But suicide is Real, the most underreported phenomenon in Nigeria.
‘For all the pple wey help dis woman not to jump off the bridge, na only God fit bless una.
