Stop linking my success to men, ashmusy cries.Popular Nigerian content producer, Amarachi Amusi, widely known as Ashmusy, recently spoke out about her discontent with people linking her success to men. In an interview with Saturday Beats, she emphasized on her hard work and determination, which have played a significant role in her accomplishments.

Ashmusy, a renowned skit-maker, explained that it’s both hurtful and frustrating to hear her success credited to prominent men. She voiced her disappointment with the common practice in society of associating men with the achievements of successful women.

In response to these misconceptions, Ashmusy expressed her desire to rebrand herself. She intends to modify her public image by adopting a more modest approach, which includes choosing to wear less provocative outfits. Her decision to cover up is part of her rebranding process.

She also  stated that she has worked diligently to attain her success and is proud of the effort she has put into building her career. Ashmusy attributes her achievements to factors such as her faith in God, consistency, and unwavering hard work.

In reflecting on what she values most about herself, Ashmusy stressed her ability to reach a certain level of accomplishment in various aspects of her life without relying on a man for her success. She also acknowledged the supportive role her family has played in her journey.

This interview shed light on Ashmusy’s commitment to breaking the conception that connects women’s success solely to men, linking  her determination to establish her identity as a hardworking, self-sufficient individual.
