Nigerian auto dealer Ikechukwu Igbonna, popularly known as IVD, has publicly cleared the air regarding his alleged debt with Davido and offered a heartfelt apology to his former love interest, Blessing CEO.
Reports had surfaced about a clash between IVD and Blessing CEO concerning an alleged debt involving singer Davido, who has been in the news this week for unpaid debts.
Addressing his alleged debt issue with Davido, Blessing Okoro had claimed that Davido owed IVD 4.5 million naira. According to her, IVD had informed her that Davido bought a car for his aide, Isreal DMW, and had yet to complete the payment.
IVD, however, came forward to publicly deny any financial dispute with Davido, asserting that he was on good terms with the music superstar.
Feeling perhaps slighted by IVD’s strong denial, Blessing Okoro had released a purported piece of evidence, an extensive voice note. In the recording, IVD could be heard discussing the alleged debt issue involving Davido. He claimed that Davido indeed owed him money and collecting the debt had proven to be challenging. IVD explained that he had encountered numerous difficulties as all attempts to reach Davido had proved futile.
Following the release of the audio, IVD took to his Instagram story to express gratitude to everyone who checked up on him. He also extended an apology to Blessing CEO for not keeping her informed about Davido’s payment.
