With Besiktas, Manchester United has verbally agreed to pay €3 million for the loan of Wout Weghorst.
The transfer of Wout Weghorst to Manchester United is imminent.
As the Red Devils try to have a successful season finale, Erik ten Hag finally appears to be getting near to his target.
Besiktas stipulates terms for the Weghorst contract to end the striker’s loan early and take him away from his parent club Burnley for the remainder of the season, United have an agreement in principle to pay Besiktas roughly €3 million.

Weghorst is close to joining Manchester United on loan. Only if they can find a good replacement for the Netherlands international, who has eight goals in 16 Turkish league games and was scheduled to finish the season there, would Besiktas give their final clearance.
Last Saturday against Kasimpasa, Weghorst looked to wave goodbye to the Besiktas supporters, but the club won’t let him go until their demands are met. The Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar, who is playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, is their main goal.
Ideal for Ten Hag is Weghorst
Erik ten Hag believes Weghorst is the best option for a temporary center forward because United is operating on a tight budget this month.
