James Brown, a Nigerian crossdresser, has criticised the alleged gay males detained in Delta State for hosting a same-sex wedding.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the crossdresser, who rose to prominence after being detained for allegedly attending a gay event in Lagos in 2018, argued that these individuals should have followed the law and avoided hosting a gay wedding.

He went on to say that because Nigeria is not accepting of gay people, the suspects should have kept their actions hidden.
This comes after the alleged homosexuals were apprehended while celebrating the wedding of one of their own in a Delta state hotel.

On Wednesday, August 29, the young guys were paraded before the police headquarters in Asaba, Delta State, and the footage went viral on social media, eliciting reactions from Nigerians and celebrities alike.

In other developments, Bobrisky has expressed his thoughts on the arrest of over 100 alleged gays accused of participating in a gay wedding in Delta State.
DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, paraded the accused before the police headquarters in Asaba yesterday.
The accused were allegedly holding a gay wedding at a hotel in the state when they were detained, according to him.

Bobrisky blasted the guys on his Instagram page for attempting to execute a gay wedding in a country where the behaviour was banned, adding that they deserved the treatment they received.
If they were so in love with their relationships, he believes they should have left the country to live somewhere else. He stated,

“Hey guys!!! I want to quickly addressed those set of guys who were arrested in delta. You see dis class is not actually meant for everyone. But i strongly believe you can learn from those Alist. Firstly there’s a law passed against you guys that you can’t marry urself in dis country why d hell did you all call urself together to organize a wedding? That’s d dumbest news have read dis week. You all deserve how you all were treated sad truth. If you feel you are in love with ur partner and you want to be together why not relocate to where you are welcome?”
