Shatta Wale Announces New Afrobeats Album, Konekt
Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has announced his new album titled Konekt, just a few months after releasing his Maali album.
This comes an excellent performance of his sixth album, Maali, which debuted on multiple global charts and digital streaming platforms that was released on March 31, 2023.
The African dancehall king, Shatta Wale who has themed his Konekt album as pure Afrobeats, presented the official cover art in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Songs like “Weytin” and “Like Electricity” are the only songs that have been confirmed to be on the album, despite the fact that the number of tracks has not been released by the SM Boss.
Additionally, the release date and featured artistes on Shatta Wale’s sixth studio album, Konekt, has also not been disclosed to the public.
Following the announcement of the album, many fans are already salivating in anticipation of hearing the other side of Shatta Wale’s Afrobeats prowess.
Others have already despised him, claiming that the concept would fail to gain global recognition.
