UEL: You Lousy, So Lucky To Be In The Final – Cassano Criticizes Mourinho

Former Italy international, Antonio Cassano has slammed AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, insisting that the Portuguese sucked and lucky his team reached the UEFA Europa League final.

Mourinho’s side recently reached the Europa League final after eliminating Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-final stage a few days ago. Roma advanced to the Europa League final on a 1-0 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen and will face Sevilla later this month after the La Liga side eliminated Juventus in the other semi-final encounter. However, Cassano was not pleased with Mourinho and how Roma performed against Leverkusen.

“The coach will say that everything is special, but in life, as Napoleon said, it’s better to be a lucky commander than a strong one. And he is very lucky and impressive. “I’ll say he’s terrible, but he won the conference last year and now he’s in the finals,” Cassano told talkSPORT.

“We will continue for the results. I have to talk about football and analyze the game, pretty nasty. something you can’t understand but what will he say? I made it to the finals, I won, I don’t care. Roma did a good job, but they made crap.”
