She said that the jury’s decision resulted in her elimination, despite the fact that she contributed to the show’s content and deserved to stay. Uriel, a former housemate on BBNaija All Stars, has spoken out about her thoughts on the jury twist that was added to the competition. Recall that Seyi was once again spared by the jury, Teddy A., Laycon, and Diane over the weekend, and that Seyi led to the eviction of Uriel Oputa from the competition. Uriel admits to feeling cheated during her interview with Lajos FM after being sent out of the house on Sunday. Although she didn’t receive the fewest votes, she was nonetheless forced to leave the competition.
She claimed that despite having contributed to the show’s content and being deserving of staying, she was eliminated as a result of the jury’s decision. She went on to explain that she regretted supporting Laycon and voted for him because he did not provide the same courtesy to her when he had the chance.
She stated:
“I’m a very vocal person; I feel robbed; I feel that it wasn’t my time, and I was done dirty. I love everything that Big Brother stands for, but that particular section of having a jury is what caused me to feel that it was not right, that it was not fair. I gave content and life to the show, and I felt like it was very unfair.”
“And I’ll be honest with you; I’m going to this with no shame. I really regret voting for Laycon, and I feel like it was very bad on his part because I heavily campaigned for him, and I felt very bad when I pointed out certain things, but it is what it is. You have to make lemonade from lemons, but I totally feel wronged, and I feel like I shouldn’t be out there; I should be in there.”
