In the midst of his rumoured divorce from his wife, Rosy Meurer, Nigerian philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has given his insights on people’s reactions to good news.
According to Citi News, a famous blogger stated that the couple had split up due to adultery and physical abuse.
The blogger claimed that Churchill had been physically abusive to his wife and had been away from their shared home.

Despite Rosy’s professed affection for her husband, the site stated that she was the family’s principal breadwinner.
In a recent Instagram post, Churchill complained that people often remain mute when they hear positive things about you, but their attitude is different when it is negative news.

He confirmed that while happy news is difficult to spread, negative news spreads quickly.
Churchill went on to say that because he can’t control what other people think or perceive of him, he’s channelled his attention towards personal growth and self-improvement, focused on his journey.
In his own words,
” When people hear good things about you, they stay silent. When they hear bad things about you, they spread it like wildfire. When they hear nothing about you, they make things up. However, it’s important to remember that you cannot control what others say or how they perceive you. Instead, focus on being the best version of yourself, and concentrate on the journey, the same mouth that bites you will celebrate you.”
